Choral Introit. “Bless Thou the Lord, O My Soul”
Bless thou the Lord, O my soul.
Bless thou the Lord, O my soul.
Blessed, blessed art Thou.
Bless thou the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is within me bless His holy name.
He is full of compassion and mercy,
Long suffering and great in goodness.
He will not always be chiding;
Nor keepeth He His wrath forever.
Blessed, blessed art Thou.
Text: Russian liturgy based on Psalm 103
Music: Gordon Young
GREETING & CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 106:47–48
Leader: Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.
People: Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting!
All: And let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the Lord!
PRAYER OF ADORATION, ASSISTANCE, & BLESSING
Hymnal #32 " Great Is Thy Faithfulness”
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with thee;
Thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not;
as thou hast been thou forever wilt be.
Refrain:
Great is thy faithfulness!
Great is thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see:
All I have needed thy hand hath provided -
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon, and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
to thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love. [Refrain]
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide,
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! [Refrain]
REFLECTION ON GOD’S LAW
Leader: The Fourth Commandment is:
People: “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. (Exodus 20:8-9)
Leader: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day.
People: Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy (Exodus 20:11)
SILENT PRAYER OF CONFESSION
ASSURANCE OF GRACE Titus 3:5
Hymnal #493 “We Have Not Known Thee As We Ought”
We have not known thee as we ought,
Nor learned thy wisdom, grace, and pow'r;
The things of earth have filled our thought,
And trifles of the passing hour.
Lord, give us light thy truth to see,
And make us wise in knowing thee.
We have not feared thee as we ought,
Nor bowed beneath thine awful eye,
Nor guarded deed, and word, and thought,
Remembering that God was nigh.
Lord, give us faith to know thee near,
And grant the grace of holy fear.
We have not loved thee as we ought,
Nor cared that we are loved by thee;
Thy presence we have coldly sought,
And feebly longed thy face to see.
Lord, give a pure and loving heart
To feel and own the love thou art.
We have not served thee as we ought;
Alas! the duties left undone,
The work with little fervor wrought,
The battles lost, or scarcely won!
Lord, give the zeal, and give the might,
For thee to toil, for thee to fight.
When shall we know thee as we ought,
And fear, and love, and serve aright!
When shall we, out of trial brought,
Be perfect in the land of light!
Lord, may we day by day prepare
To see thy face, and serve thee there.
PRAYER OF THE CHURCH Elder Bill Wood
Psalm 103:1-5 " O Bless the Lord, My Soul”
O bless the LORD, my soul
His blessedness proclaim;
Let all that is within me join
To bless His holy name.
O bless the LORD my soul,
His mercies bear in mind;
Forget not all the ways in which
He has to you been kind.
He pardons and forgives
All your iniquities;
He from each sickness makes you well
And heals you from disease.
He purchases your life
To raise you from the dead;
A crown of mercy and of love
He places on your head.
With good things, your desires
He fully satisfies;
And therefore, like an eagle, you
With youth renewed, arise.

GOD’S WORD PREACHED. “Abide, Abide, Abide” by Rev. Jeremiah Rivera
Prayer Of Application & The Lord’s Prayer
All: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
Hymnal #427 “Amidst Us Our Beloved Stands”
Amidst us our Beloved stands,
And bids us view his pierced hands;
Points to the wounded feet and side,
Blest emblems of the Crucified.
What food luxurious loads the board,
When at his table sits the Lord!
The wine how rich, the bread how sweet,
When Jesus deigns the guests to meet!
If now, with eyes defiled and dim,
We see the signs, but see not him;
O may his love the scales displace,
And bid us see him face to face!
O glorious Bridegroom of our hearts,
Your present smile a heav’n imparts!
O lift the Veil, if veil there be,
Let every saint your glory see!
Hymnal p. 845 “Apostles’ Creed”
Minister: Christian, what do you believe?
All: I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Song “Refiner's Fire”
Purify my heart,
Let me be as gold
And precious silver.
Purify my heart,
Let me be as gold,
Pure gold.
Chorus:
Refiner's fire:
My heart's one desire
Is to be holy,
Set apart for you Lord.
I choose to be holy,
Set apart for you, my master;
Ready to do your will.
Purify my heart,
Cleanse me from within
And make me holy.
Purify my heart,
Cleanse me from my sin,
Deep within. [Chorus]
