Choral Introit. “Canon in D”
In the silence of our souls, O Lord,
we contemplate Thy peace.
Free from all the world’s desires,
free of fear and all anxiety.
O Lord, our God, Wisdom, Joy and Peace and Love Divine!
O Lord, our God, Glory, Praise and Honor be always Thine!
O dearest Lord, come to us now,
Have mercy on us, stay with us and protect us all; [Repeat]
O Lord, our God, our All, our Wisdom, Truth and, Love and Peace and Joy!
O Lord, our King, Thy praises we will always sing!
Alleluia [Repeat.]
GREETING & CALL TO WORSHIP

PRAYER OF ADORATION, ASSISTANCE, & BLESSING
Hymnal #156 “O Lord, How Shall I Meet You”
O Lord, how shall I meet you,
how welcome you aright?
Your people long to greet you,
my hope, my heart’s delight!
O kindle, Lord, Most Holy,
your lamp within my breast
to do in spirit lowly
all that may please you best.
Love caused your incarnation,
love brought you down to me;
your thirst for my salvation
procured my liberty.
O love beyond all telling,
that led you to embrace,
in love all love excelling,
our lost and fallen race!
Rejoice, then, you sad-hearted,
who sit in deepest gloom,
who mourn o’er joys departed
and tremble at your doom.
Despair not, he is near you,
yea, standing at the door,
who best can help and cheer you
and bids you weep no more.
Sin’s debt, that fearful burden,
let not your soul distress;
your guilt the Lord will pardon
and cover by his grace.
He comes, for men procuring
the peace of sin forgiv’n,
for all God’s sons securing
their heritage in heav’n.
REFLECTION ON GOD’S LAW
Leader: The Ninth Commandment is: “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”
People: These are the things that you shall do: Speak the truth to one another; render in your gates judgments that are true and make for peace.
Leader: Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices
People: And have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.
SILENT PRAYER OF CONFESSION
ASSURANCE OF GRACE Acts 4:12
Hymnal #591 “Jesus Call Us”
Jesus calls us: o'er the tumult
of our life's wild, restless sea,
day by day his sweet voice soundeth,
saying, "Christian, follow me":
As, of old, apostles heard it
by the Galilean lake,
turned from home and toil and kindred,
leaving all for his dear sake.
Jesus calls us from the worship
of the vain world's golden store,
from each idol that would keep us,
saying, "Christian, love me more."
In our joys and in our sorrows,
days of toil and hours of ease,
still he calls, in cares and pleasures,
"Christian, love me more than these."
Jesus calls us: by thy mercies,
Savior, may we hear thy call,
give our hearts to thine obedience,
serve and love thee best of all.
PRAYER OF THE CHURCH Elder Bill Wood
Psalm 103: 19-22 “In the Heavens”
In the heavens by the LORD’s hand
He established there His throne.
Over all is His dominion;
He is King and He alone.
Bless the LORD, you mighty angels,
You that hear and do His will.
Bless the LORD, all you His servants
Who His pleasure do fulfill.
Bless the LORD, all you His armies,
You His works, with one accord
In all parts of His dominion;
O my soul, O bless the LORD.

GOD’S WORD PREACHED. “Paul's Résumé, Part 1” by Pastor Joel E. Wood
Prayer Of Application & The Lord’s Prayer
All: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
Hymnal #421. ”Soul, Adorn Yourself with Gladness”
Hymnal p. 845 “Apostles’ Creed”
Minister: Christian, what do you believe?
All: I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S SUPPER

COMMUNION PRAYER
Approach the Table for the Lord’s Supper
Prayer of Thanksgiving
Song. “Wonderful Merciful Savior”
Wonderful, merciful Savior,
Precious Redeemer and Friend;
Who would have thought that a Lamb
Could rescue the souls of men?
Oh, You rescue the souls of men.
Chorus:
You are the One that we praise,
You are the One we adore.
You give the healing and grace
Our hearts always hunger for,
Oh, our hearts always hunger for.
Counselor, Comforter, Keeper,
Spirit we long to embrace;
You offer hope when our hearts
Have hopelessly lost the way.
Oh, we hopelessly lost the way. [Chorus]
Almighty, infinite Father,
Faithfully loving Your own;
Here in our weakness You find us
Falling before Your throne.
Oh, we're falling before Your throne. [Chorus]
Trinity Hymnal #731 “Doxology”
Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav'nly host:
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
