Call to Worship    Revelation 15:3-4
Leader: Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations!
People: Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy.
Leader: All nations will come and worship you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.

‍Prayer of Adoration, Assistance, & Blessing

Hymn  “Come People of the Risen King”

Come people of the Risen King
Who delight to bring Him praise
Come all and tune your hearts to sing
To the Morning Star of grace
From the shifting shadows of the earth
We will lift our eyes to Him
Where steady arms of mercy reach
To gather children in

Chorus -
Rejoice rejoice let ev'ry tongue rejoice
One heart one voice
O Church of Christ rejoice

Come those whose joy is morning sun
And those weeping through the night
Come those who tell of battles won
And those struggling in the fight
For His perfect love will never change
And His mercies never cease
But follow us through all our days
With the certain hope of peace
Chorus

Come young and old from ev'ry land
Men and women of the faith
Come those with full or empty hands
Find the riches of His grace
Over all the world His people sing
Shore to shore we hear them call
The truth that cries through ev'ry age
Our God is all in all

Reflection on God’s Law
Leader: Honor your father and your mother.
People: Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. (Eph 6:1)

Leader: You shall not murder.
People: Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (1Jn 3:15)

Leader: You shall not commit adultery.
People: Everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Mt 5:28)

Leader: You shall not steal.
People: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. Do your work quietly and earn your own living. (2Th 3:10,12)

Leader: You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
People: Having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor. (Eph 4:25)

Leader: You shall not covet anything that is your neighbor’s.
People: For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Gal 5:14)

Hymnal #98 “Now Thank We All Our God”
Now thank we all our God
with heart and hands and voices,
who wondrous things hath done,
in whom his world rejoices;
who from our mothers' arms
hath blessed us on our way
with countless gifts of love,
and still is ours today.

O may this bounteous God
through all our life be near us,
with ever joyful hearts
and blessed peace to cheer us,
and keep us in his grace,
and guide us when perplexed,
and free us from all ills
in this world in the next.

All praise and thanks to God
the Father now be given,
the Son and Him who reigns,
with them in highest heaven
the one eternal God,
whom earth and heaven adore;
for thus it was, is now, and shall be evermore.

Reception of New Members

Psalm of Preparation  “It’s Good to Thank the Lord”
It’s good to thank the LORD,
To praise Your name, Most High;
To tell Your love at dawn,
Your faithfulness by night
With ten-stringed lyre,
Resounding music played upon the harp and lyre.

Your deeds, LORD, made me glad;
I’ll sing of what You’ve done.
How great Your works, O LORD,
How deep Your thoughts each one.
A senseless man
Devoid of knowledge, this truth will not understand:

All sinners grow like grass,
The wicked multiply;
And yet they’ll be destroyed.
But, LORD, You stay on high.
Your foes, LORD, fall;
Your foes will perish, evil doers scattered all.

You’ve poured oil on my head,
Like oxen I’m made strong.
I’ve seen and heard the fate
Of those who’ve done me wrong.
Like thriving palm
The righteous grows, like cedars tall on Lebanon.

Those planted by the LORD
Will in God’s courts be seen;
When old they’ll still bear fruit
And flourish fresh and green,
And this proclaim:
How upright is the LORD, my Rock, no wrong in Him.

Prayer of Application and the Lord’s Prayer

Hymnal #261 “What Wondrous Love Is This”
What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this, that caused the Lord of bliss
to bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul,
to bear the dreadful curse for my soul.

To God and to the Lamb I will sing, I will sing;
to God and to the Lamb, I will sing.
To God and to the Lamb who is the great "I AM,"
while millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing,
while millions join the theme, I will sing.

And when from death I’m free,
I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on.
And when from death I’m free,
I’ll sing on.
And when from death I’m free,
I’ll sing and joyful be
And through eternity,
I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on.
And through eternity,
I’ll sing on.
