REFLECTION ON GOD’S LAW

Leader: Honor your father and your mother.

People: Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

 

Leader: You shall not murder.

People: Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no

murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

 

Leader: You shall not commit adultery.

People: Everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already

committed adultery with her in his heart.

 

Leader: You shall not steal.

People: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. Do your work quietly and

earn your own living.

 

Leader: You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

People: Having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor.

 

Leader: You shall not covet anything that is your neighbor's.

People: For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

Psalm 104:16-26  “The Trees of the Lord”

 

The trees of the LORD are provided with water,

The cedars of Lebanon planted by Him.

The birds build their nests there, the storks choose the fir trees.

Wild goats climb high mountains where rock badgers hide.

The moon He created to mark off the seasons;

The sun knows the time for its setting each night.

When You bring the darkness, and night follows daytime,

The beasts of the forest all come out to prowl.

The young lions roar as for prey they go searching,

Depending on God to provide them with food.

But when the sun rises they go into hiding,

While man goes to work until evening again.

Prayer Of Application & The Lord’s Prayer

All: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever.  Amen.

Minister: Christian, what do you believe? 

All:  I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
