The Gospel Wildfire

Pastor Joel continues preaching through the book of Acts, picking up in chapter 19. He begins by explaining how we can understand the word of God. First, is through His direct commands, second, holy example, and finally, understanding good and necessary consequences. In a culture that finds light in the darkness, what a joy it is to know that God offers light in His light. Through this backward approach of the world there will always be conflict wherever the gospel is. In this passage, Paul embraces conflict and change. Do not be afraid of working for Christ, although the night is long, do not give up for Christ reigns above it all. Christ has called you to a higher calling for His gospel so that the gospel can spread like wildfire. Finally, ask yourself what is God seeking to accomplish in us, through us and among us.
