What a month April has been! Holy Week and all the special services, The Gray Havens album release concert, a wonderful Missions Conference with Dr. Richard Pratt, a visit with the Megchelsens as they consider the Session’s call to be our next Assistant Pastor, the Women’s Spring Tea, complete with glorious hats, along with all of our usual activities!
May will be no less exciting. In fact, it will be like Christmas in May. We will get to open gifts! Paul wrote to the Ephesians: Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men” (Eph. 4:8). Those gifts are the officers of the church. And on May 17, my birthday no less, we will open these gifts as the congregation meets to vote on elders and deacons. God is good to us! Don’t miss this great moment to be Presbyterian as you choose those who help shepherd you and care for you physical needs!
This Sunday AM, we will once again join Paul on his trip to Jerusalem as "We're Almost There” from Acts 20:22-24. Morgan will open John 14:1-14 in PM worship with "A Cure for a Troubled Heart.” It will be a good day.
I can’t wait to see you and worship with you!
Love & blessings,

Pastor Joel
