Choral Introit  “Neverending Song of Praise”
All creation sings His wonders; His glories now proclaim.
Earth and heaven bow before Him at the power of His name.
For He rules all the universe from His mighty throne above.
Yet He loves us with a neverending love.

Chorus:
Unto Him we lift our songs,
For He is holy and righteous and worthy of our praise.
We will sing our alleluias to our God, the Ancient of Days.
We will join creation’s chorus Giving glory and honor and praise forevermore.

In His love we rejoice, and we must add our voices
To the neverending song of praise.

The mountains and hills break forth into song before Him,
And all the trees of the field clap their hands. He rides on the clouds in His majesty,
And the mighty rivers flow at His command.
Eternal alleluias now we bring, eternal alleluias to the King. [Chorus]

GREETING AND CALL TO WORSHIP  Psalm 117:1-2
Leader: Praise the LORD, all nations! Extol him, all peoples!
People: For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever.
All: Praise the LORD!

PRAYER OF ADORATION, ASSISTANCE, AND BLESSING

Hymnal #347  “The Church's One Foundation”

The church's one foundation is Jesus Christ, her Lord;
she is his new creation by water and the Word:
from heav'n he came and sought her to be his holy bride;
with his own blood he bought her, and for her life he died.

Elect from ev'ry nation, yet one o'er all the earth,
her charter of salvation one Lord, one faith, one birth;
one holy name she blesses, partakes one holy food,
and to one hope she presses, with ev'ry grace endued.

Though with a scornful wonder men see her sore oppressed,
by schisms rent asunder, by heresies distressed,
yet saints their watch are keeping, their cry goes up, "How long?"
And soon the night of weeping shall be the morn of song.

The church shall never perish! Her dear Lord to defend,
to guide, sustain, and cherish, is with her to the end;
though there be those that hate her, and false sons in her pale,
against or foe or traitor she ever shall prevail.

'Mid toil and tribulation, and tumult of her war,
she waits the consummation of peace forevermore;
till with the vision glorious her longing eyes are blest,
and the great church victorious shall be the church at rest.

Yet she on earth hath union with God the Three in One,
and mystic sweet communion with those whose rest is won:
O happy ones and holy! Lord, give us grace that we,
like them, the meek and lowly, on high may dwell with thee.

REFLECTION ON GOD’S LAW
Leader: The sum of the four commandments, which contain our duty to God, is:
People: To love the Lord our God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our strength, and with all our mind. (Mark 12:30)

Leader: As Jesus told Satan:
People: You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve. (Matt. 4:10)

SILENT PRAYER OF CONFESSION
ASSURANCE OF GRACE Psalm 32:1–2

Hymnal #463  “A Debtor to Mercy Alone”
A debtor to mercy alone, of covenant mercy I sing;
nor fear, with your righteousness on, my person and off'ring to bring.
The terrors of law and of God with me can have nothing to do;
my Savior's obedience and blood hide all my transgressions from view.

The work which his goodness began, the arm of his strength will complete;
his promise is yea and amen, and never was forfeited yet.
Things future, nor things that are now, nor all things below or above,
 can make him his purpose forgo, or sever my soul from his love.

My name from the palms of his hands eternity will not erase;
impressed on his heart it remains, in marks of indelible grace.
Yes, I to the end shall endure, as sure as the earnest is giv'n;
more happy, but not more secure, the glorified spirits in heav'n.

PRAYER OF THE CHURCH  Elder Brad Tidwell
Psalm 136:1-26 “Thank the Lord for Good Is He”
Thank the LORD for good is He, For His steadfast love endures.
To the God of gods, thanks be, For His steadfast love endures.
Praises give the King of kings, For His steadfast love endures.
He alone does wondrous things, For His steadfast love endures.

He with skill has made the skies, For His steadfast love endures.
From the seas made land arise, For His steadfast love endures.
He has made great shining lights, For His steadfast love endures.
Sun rules day; moon, stars rule night, For His steadfast love endures.

Egypt’s firstborn He did smite For His steadfast love endures.
Brought out Is’rael by His might, For His steadfast love endures.
He the Red Sea split in two, For His steadfast love endures.
He made Is’rael pass on through, For His steadfast love endures.

He drowned Pharaoh and his men For His steadfast love endures.
Led His own through deserts then, For His steadfast love endures.
Kings of splendor then He slew, For His steadfast love endures.
Mighty kings He overthrew: For His steadfast love endures.

Sihon, king of Amorites, For His steadfast love endures,
Og, the king of Bashanites; For His steadfast love endures.
He willed Israel their land, For His steadfast love endures.
As His servant, heirs they stand, For His steadfast love endures.

He remembered us when low, For His steadfast love endures.
Gave deliv’rance from our foe, For His steadfast love endures.
He gives food to all that live, For His steadfast love endures.
Thanks to God of heaven give, For His steadfast love endures.

GOD’S WORD READ  Matthew 6:9-13
GOD’S WORD PREACHED “Jesus' Big Vision for Us” by Dr. Richard Pratt

Prayer Of Application & The Lord’s Prayer
All: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Song  "My Heart Is Filled”
My heart is filled with thankfulness To Him who bore my pain;
Who plumbed the depths of my disgrace And gave me life again;
Who crushed my curse of sinfulness And clothed me with His light
And wrote His law of righteousness With pow'r upon my heart.

My heart is filled with thankfulness To Him who walks beside;
Who floods my weaknesses with strength And causes fears to fly.
Whose ev’ry promise is enough For ev’ry step I take.
Sustaining me with arms of love And crowning me with grace.

My heart is filled with thankfulness To Him who reigns above;
Whose wisdom is my perfect peace, Whose ev’ry thought is love.
For ev’ry day I have on earth Is given by the King.
So I will give my life, my all, To love and follow Him.

Hymnal p. 845  “Apostles’ Creed”
Minister: Christian, what do you believe?

All: I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S SUPPER

Song “His Mercy Is More"
What love could remember no wrongs we have done?
Omniscient, all knowing, He counts not their sum.
Thrown into a sea without bottom or shore,
Our sins, they are many; His mercy is more.

What patience would wait as we constantly roam?
What Father, so tender, is calling us home?
He welcomes the weakest, the vilest, the poor.
Our sins, they are many; His mercy is more.

What riches of kindness He lavished on us.
His blood was the payment; His life was the cost.
We stood 'neath a debt we could never afford.
Our sins, they are many; His mercy is more.

Chorus:
Praise the Lord, His mercy is more.
Stronger than darkness, new ev’ry morn.
Our sins, they are many; His mercy is more. [Repeat]

Hymnal #731:  “Doxology”
Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav'nly host:
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
