Merry Christmas! We aren’t quite there, but… soon!
On Christmas Eve at 6p, we will enjoy an evening of focusing on the birth of Christ, through a presentation by the Sanctuary Choir, the Children’s Chorus, the reading from Scripture of the Nativity, a final sermon from Malachi 4, and a carol sing. We will also have our string quartet help accompany the carols. I’m really looking forward to celebrating Christmas with our New Life family after a challenging season in our own family. Friends, if you don’t have a Christmas Eve tradition or are looking for something different and aren’t in the habit of coming to New Life for Christmas Eve, I hope you’ll come celebrate with us!
Remember the three Higher ED options we have for adults on Sunday morning at 11:15a: Good & Angry in 201, the Women’s Class in 204, and the Gospel of Mark in the Sanctuary. In AM worship we’ll focus on Malachi 4:4-5 and “Advent 4: I’ve Been Everywhere” and in PM worship, Colossians 1:24-26 and “The Revelation of the Gospel.”
In the meantime, thank you for your generosity! In addition to the giving update given by Dean Abbot two weeks ago, I’ve heard good reports on mission giving, the blanket drive, and other mercy opportunities. Remember the opportunity to give Christmas gifts to particular missionaries. You all are always so faithful to be generous with our missionaries in this season!
I say it all the time, because it’s true: I can’t wait to worship with you this Sunday! Park well, scoot up and in to make room for new friends, and I’l see you when the Lord calls us together to fulfill his Covenant promises to us!
Love & blessings,

Pastor Joel
