​This coming week, the youth of New Life will be at the Southwest Reformed Youth Camp with Middle School and High School youth from Presbyterian and Reformed churches from all over Southern California.  Both of our interns are counseling. I’m leading morning devotions. Our youth are helping to lead singing. Our former intern and church planter Pastor Adriel Sanchez is speaking one of the days. It will be an excellent week! Pray for tenderness to the things of the Lord, greater reform in their understanding, and growing relationships to bless them throughout the coming year. 

Our first Refcon 2025 email to churches and pastors throughout San Diego has gone out this week! We will be passing along more info in the next few weeks. Pray the Lord will bless our efforts as we seek to bring world-class Reformed theological ministry through “a conference for all believers to explore how ancient wisdom informs today’s faith.” Dr. Chad Van Dixhoorn will be an excellent addition to our new tradition of RefCon as we focus this year on Reforming Discipleship: Shaping the Canyons of Our Souls! Sunday AM, Pastor Connor will preach “The Preacher’s Final Words” from the end of Ecclesiastes. Sunday PM, Pastoral Intern Morgan will preach “Fleeing Temptation” from Genesis 39:1-23. It will be a blessed day of worship and fellowship.
