A Bitter Beginning

Pastoral Intern Aaron Philip takes us through the beginning of Ruth. He shows us that despite the condition that God has placed Naomi in, Naomi still has faith in the God that, as she says, has dealt “bitterly” with her. Naomi is left only with Ruth the Moabite, who is willing to give up her family, people, culture, and religion to go with Naomi and have the God of Israel as her God.
