Heidelberg Q/A 46-49

Rev. Dr. R. Scott Clark walks us through Heidelberg Catechism Questions and Answers 46-49. He teaches us that the importance of Christ’s ascension in His true, human body, is that as our Mediator he rules over all things. Not only that, as Prince over all, Christ prays for us and represents us. Even though Christ has ascended and is absent according to His humanity, he is even closer to His people according to His divinity. The benefits of these truths are that we have both a propitiation as well as an advocate before the Father.
