Orchestra Introit   “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing”

GREETING AND CALL TO WORSHIP   Psalm 116:1-2, 5, 13
Leader: I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
People: Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; our God is merciful.

Leader: I will lift up the cup of salvation, and call on the name of the Lord.

PRAYER OF ADORATION, ASSISTANCE, AND BLESSING
Hymnal #274   “Thine Be the Glory
Thine be the glory, risen, conqu'ring Son;
endless is the vict'ry thou o’er death hast won;
angels in bright raiment rolled the stone away,
kept the folded grave clothes, where thy body lay.

Refrain:
Thine be the glory, risen conqu'ring Son;
endless is the vict'ry thou o’er death hast won.

Lo! Jesus meets us, risen from the tomb;
lovingly he greets us, scatters fear and gloom;
let the church with gladness, hymns of triumph sing,
for her Lord now liveth, death hath lost its sting. [Refrain]

No more we doubt thee, glorious Prince of life;
life is naught without thee: aid us in our strife;
make us more than conqu'rors, thro' thy deathless love:
bring us safe thro' Jordan to thy home above. [Refrain]

REFLECTION ON GOD’S LAW
Leader: The preface to the Ten Commandments is:
People: “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.” (Ex. 20:2)

Leader: Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:
People: “I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.” (Isaiah 44:6)

SILENT PRAYER OF CONFESSION
ASSURANCE OF GRACE   I Corinthians 15:3-4

Hymnal #651   “He Lifted Me”
In loving-kindness Jesus came
my soul in mercy to reclaim,
and from the depths of sin and shame
thro' grace he lifted me.

Refrain:
From sinking sand he lifted me,
with tender hand he lifted me,
from shades of night to plains of light,
oh, praise his name, he lifted me!

He called me long before I heard,
before my sinful heart was stirred,
but when I took him at his word,
forgiv'n he lifted me. [Refrain]

His brow was pierced with many a thorn,
his hands by cruel nails were torn,
when from my guilt and grief, forlorn,
in love he lifted me. [Refrain]

Now on a higher plane I dwell,
and with my soul I know 'tis well;
yet how or why, I cannot tell,
he should have lifted me. [Refrain]

PRAYER OF THE CHURCH.   Elder Bill Wood

Psalm 113   “Praise the Lord's Name”
Praise the LORD’s name, praise the LORD!
Praise Him, servants of the LORD.
May the LORD’s name blessed be
Now and to eternity!
Now and to eternity!

Dawn to dusk, from east to west,
Let the LORD’s great name be blessed.
Over nations lifted high,
LORD, Your glory crowns the sky!
LORD, Your glory crowns the sky!

Who is like our God alone?
High in heav’n the LORD’s enthroned.
But He condescends to know
Things in heav’n and earth below.
Things in heav’n and earth below.

From the dust He lifts the poor,
Makes the needy grieve no more.
Those He’s raised up from the pit
With His people’s princes sit.
With His people’s princes sit.

He the barren woman takes,
And a joyful mother makes;
In her home she finds reward.
Hallelujah! Praise the LORD!
Hallelujah! Praise the LORD!

GOD’S WORD READ   Acts 21:17-26
GOD’S WORD PREACHED.   “Missionary Report & Presbytery Report 2” by Pastor Joel E. Wood

Prayer of Application and the Lord’s Prayer
All: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever.  Amen.

Song  " Before the Throne of God Above”
Before the throne of God above
I have a strong and perfect plea,
A great High Priest whose name is Love,
Who ever lives and pleads for me.
My name is graven on his hands,
My name is written on his heart
I know that while in heav'n he stands
No tongue can bid me thence depart,
No tongue can bid me thence depart.

When Satan tempts me to despair
And tells me of the guilt within,
Upward I look and see him there
Who made an end of all my sin.
Because the sinless Saviour died,
My sinful soul is counted free
For God the Just is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me,
To look on Him and pardon me.

Behold him there! The risen Lamb,
My perfect spotless righteousness;
The great unchangeable I AM
The King of glory and of grace!
One with himself I cannot die,
My soul is purchased by his blood
My life is hid with Christ on high,
With Christ, my Saviour and my God,
With Christ, my Saviour and my God.

Hymnal p. 845   “Apostles’ Creed”
Minister: Christian, what do you believe?
All:  I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S SUPPER
Words of Institution and Warning
Minister: The Lord be with you;
People: And also with you.

Minister: Lift up your hearts;
People: We lift them up to the Lord.

Minister: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God;
People: It is right to give him thanks and praise.

Song   “Let the Earth Resound "
Let the earth resound with songs of praise
To the Father's pow’r and love.
For the One who set each star in place
Chose to set His heart on us.
To the One whose might gives victory
Yet whose mercies never cease,
As the tapestry of history
Tells the story of His grace.

Chorus:
King immortal, faithful God,
Crowned with splendour, rich in love.
Let the heavens and the earth resound
With songs of praise to You.

Let the earth be stilled before the sight
Of a Father's sacrifice,
That revealed the depths of love divine
In the face of Jesus Christ.
Through a life of full obedience,
And a death in agony,
He removed the rebel's punishment
And He set the pris'ner free. [Chorus]

Let the earth resound with songs of faith
At the wonder yet to come,
When all sin and pain are put to death
And the church and Christ are one.
When we stand as God's great family
And we meet the Father's gaze
And we share in His eternal joy
As we join in ceaseless praise. [Chorus]

Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav'nly host:
