CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 92:1-5
Leader: It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High.
People: To declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night.
Leader: To the music of the lute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre.
People: For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands, I sing for joy.
All: How great are your works, O Lord!
PRAYER OF ADORATION
Trinity Hymnal #547: “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing”
Come, thou fount of ev'ry blessing,
tune my heart to sing thy grace;
streams of mercy, never ceasing,
call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
sung by flaming tongues above;
praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it,
mount of God's unchanging love.
Here I raise my Ebenezer;
hither by thy help I'm come;
and I hope, by thy good pleasure,
safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
wand'ring from the fold of God:
he, to rescue me from danger,
interposed his precious blood.
O to grace how great a debtor
daily I'm constrained to be;
let that grace now, like a fetter,
bind my wand'ring heart to thee.
Prone to wander – Lord, I feel it –
prone to leave the God I love;
here's my heart, O take and seal it,
seal it for thy courts above.
REFLECTION ON GOD’S LAW from Exodus 20:1-17 & N.T. corollaries, ESV

Leader You shall not murder.
People: Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (1 Jn. 3:15)

People: Everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Mt. 5:28)

Leader: You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
People: Having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor. (Eph. 4:25)
Leader: You shall not covet anything that is your neighbor's.
People: For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Gal. 5:14)
SILENT PRAYER OF CONFESSION
ASSURANCE OF PARDON: Micah 7:19
Trinity Hymnal #533 “I Am Thine, O Lord”
I am thine, O Lord, I have heard thy voice,
And it told thy love to me;
But I long to rise in the arms of faith,
And be closer drawn to thee.
Refrain:
Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
To the cross where thou hast died;
Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer blessed Lord,
To thy precious, bleeding side.
Consecrate me now to thy service, Lord,
By the pow'r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
And my will be lost in thine. [Refrain]
O the pure delight of a single hour
That before thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with thee, my God,
I commune as friend with friend. [Refrain]
There are depths of love that I cannot know
Till I cross the narrow sea;
There are heights of joy that I may not reach
Till I rest in peace with thee. [Refrain]
PRAYER OF THE CHURCH. Elder Miguel Riveron
Psalm 9:11-20: “Sing Praise to the Lord” (tune: Trinity Hymnal #38)
Sing praise to the LORD, who in Zion does dwell;
Among all the peoples His great doings tell.
When blood He avenges, His mem’ry is clear;
The cry of the poor never fades from His ear.
LORD, see what I suffer from malice and hate;
Have mercy! O lift me away from death’s gate;
In gates of the daughter of Zion I’ll praise,
Rejoicing in Your mighty power to save.
The nations are sunk in the pit they prepared;
Their foot in the net which they hid is ensnared.
The LORD by His judgment has made Himself known;
He catches the wicked in snares of their own.
The wicked to death’s realm of darkness are brought;
All nations who would not keep God in their thoughts.
Forgotten no longer the cause of the weak,
Nor perished forever the hope of the meek!
Arise, LORD, that man may not make himself strong;
Let nations be judged in Your presence for wrong.
O LORD, put Your fear and Your terror in them;
Let nations know truly that they are mere men.
SCRIPTURE: Acts 3:11-4:4
SERMON: ”Big Yellow Taxi” by Pastor Joel E. Wood
PRAYER OF APPLICATION
“My Only Comfort” Words and Music: Ron Matthews
My only comfort in life and death
Is that I belong to my faithful Savior,
Who with His blood paid for all my sins,
And delivered me from the pow’r of the devil,
And so preserves me, in my salvation,
And Christ assures me of eternal life,
Eternal life.
I am delivered from all my sins
And the Spirit makes me willing and ready
To live my life unto Jesus Christ and
Be thankful to God, and be thankful to God,
And be thankful to God for such salvation!
