I love the heavenward emphasis in Colossians, as well as the call to put off the old man and put on the new. I find much of Colossians to be like a warm fire on a cold night. Paul's love for the saints, His desire for them to learn to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, his encouragement in prayer and thanksgiving... did I mention his love for the flock? Florence Glaubius
