8:45 - 9:00  Check In.  Nametag and contact info (We'll put a contact list together and email it to all who come). Coffee and snacks will be available throughout the morning.
9:00  Welcome and Opening Prayer. Announcements, including an update on the Made for More Conference in September. Introductions, Icebreaker, and our goal and vision for the workshop.
9:20 - 10:30  Session one, sharing on the topics below
10:30 - 10:40  Break
10:40 - 11:40  Session two, sharing on the topics below
11:40 - ?      Lunch.  Feel free to stay as long as you wish!
Topics:
  • How is your women’s ministry organized and run? How does your ministry keep track of goals as it relates to the health and  growth of the ministry? Are there any specific measurements that you have for this?
  • Bible Studies
  • Mentoring and Discipleship. How do you do this?  How do the paid and volunteer leaders of womens' ministry interact and serve with and alongside the deaconesses and/or ministry care team (elders, deacons, etc.)?
  • Multi-generational activities
  • Childcare
  • Retreats
What to bring:  If you have newsletters, flyers for events, promotional info for Bible studies and other events, please bring them. Bring your current or a past favorite Bible study. If you have a website, please bring the link for it.  We'll add it to the contact info sheet to share with everyone.
