We Welcome to the Pulpit this morning Rev. Ray Call, missionary to Belize with Mission to the World. Ray will also give an update on the work in Belize during Sunday School. This evening, Rev. Tedd Sutton, Associate Pastor at Covenant PCA in Holland, MI, will be preaching.
Congregation Meeting– Today immediately following the Benediction in the sanctuary.
Treble Chorus – Treble voices (girls and boys whose voices haven’t changed) between 3rd and 12th grades are invited to sing in the Christmas Eve service. Rehearsals will be today, and next Sunday at 5 p.m. See Mrs. Watt for more information.
Soup Fellowship –After the evening service tonight, we gather for a bowl of soup in the fellowship hall. Additional soup makers are always appreciated. If you’d like to make a pot of soup, please see Trudy Verdick.
The 1 John Bible Study will take a break for the rest of the year.The study will resume on Tuesday, January 7 at 10 a.m. in Room 102.
Missionary Christmas Gifts– We have the opportunity once a year to give gifts to missionaries who are members of New Life. Designate Christmas gift and the missionary name (Zadok, Verdick,Bonker, Call, Phillips) on your check or giving envelope.
Gift Wrap Gathering – “Wrap” up the year, Ladies! Come enjoy fellowship, Christmas music, and apple cider while wrapping Christmas gifts for your family and friends, Wednesday, December 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Ana DaCosta will assist with wrapping; Suzy Andrecht will have gift tags and gift card holders available to make. Text Ana DaCosta with any questions.
Christmas Eve – Invite family, friends, and neighbors to our annual service of Lessons and Carols on December 24 at 6 p.m.
Christmas Day – Our Christmas morning service will be held at 9 a.m. A simple breakfast will be offered in the fellowship hall after the service.
Women's Read-Through-the Bible Study Wednesdays, beginning January 8 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the home of Marlys Nunez. Contact Marlys for a reading guide. All women welcome for this discussion and prayer time.
