The Orchard

The Orchard is a large apartment complex for seniors located at the corner of Sports Arena Blvd. and Midway in Point Loma. Each Sunday at 3:00 PM members of New Life conduct a worship service for the residents. Our labor is one of love, preaching God and His grace in Christ. You can be involved as a musician, a teacher, a driver, or simply a friendly face that, in Jesus, warmly greets and talks to the residents.

MUSIC – God has blessed New Life with much musical talent, and many from New Life faithfully use their gifts to exalt our Savior each Sunday in this venue. Even many of our young people participate both as singers and instrumentalists.

BIBLE TEACHING – Many of the residents are unable to drive to Sunday worship at a church nearby. They are eager to hear the Word faithfully taught every Sunday.

OUTREACH - In feeding these hungry souls, others may be reached. Perhaps residents in the adjoining recreation room, those that wander in to see what’s going on, or the people in adjoining rooms.

This is an opportunity for us to minister to those who are unable to attend church because of physical limitations and also for the gospel to go forth to those who have yet to embrace Christ as Savior.

Stanford Court

The Stanford Court is a skilled nursing facility, where residents are unable to care for themselves on their own. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, at 2:00 PM, members of New Life go to Stanford Court to pray and sing and read selections from the Bible with the residents.
